AGA Stories

A Love Story...forever – Sue

I can't imagine life without my Aga. My Aga doesn't have a name, like Royalty, it is quite simply "The Aga". The Aga is always there, ready for action. Whatever I cook or bake, it comes out perfectly. No longer do I worry about how long things take, it just happens, and it's always right! The children can cook their own breakfasts with ease and even my husband is a fully trained Aga operative who appreciates its every quality. The Aga is the heart of the house, visitors flock to it, the cats curl up by it, and I, quite often will sit on the floor leaning with my back against the Aga to make phone calls to friends and family. The Aga is a comfort to the whole family, all year round. In the Winter we come in from the cold and carress the Aga, we will all huddle around it to absorb it's heat. In the Summer, the children come in from playing outside in the water and they will warm their towels on the Aga and then get dressed in front of it drinking hot chocolate. New visitors to our home, when they walk into the kitchen will quite often say "an Aga, how lovely, it makes the house feel so nice". I can't imagine life without The Aga, nor can I imagine the house witout the Aga, and I certainly can't imagine ever having to cook or bake without the Aga. Quite simply, the Aga is the best thing we have ever bought, and it brings joy into my life every time I walk into the kitchen. The Aga is one of the family, and is a family member loved by all!
